what is the difference between taking care of one dwarf or mini lop rabbit then 2 guinea pigs?

my parents have agreed to let me get 2 guinea pigs, but i really had my heart set on a rabbit, i would me getting either a mini lop or a dwarf rabbit
can you give me the differences in taking care of 2 guinea pigs rather than 1 rabbit or some arguments as to why 1 rabbit would be better than 2 guinea pigs? the size of the cage doesnt matter because i have a huge one
